Course We Offer

Part 1: 8-Hours Skills Training Course for Security Guards

Power of Arrest, Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism Awareness

• Our 8-hour skills training course for security guards will familiarize you with the various training topics delineated by Business and Professions Code section 7583.7, legal aspects, techniques, liability, and company requirements relating to the arrest of an individual. You must complete this section before you are assigned to duty.
• Cost: $50.00

Complete 40-Hour Course

• Our 40-hour Guard Card course has all modules and lessons. After you complete the first 8- hour coursework, certificates of completion and application paperwork will be issued. This section includes the Chemical Agents module ($29.99 value) for free.
• Cost: $200.00

Chemical Agents, Defensive Spray

• If you wish to add tear gas/ pepper spray qualification to your BSIS Guard Card, you'll need to complete this standalone course. After successfully completing the course, you will be issued a Certificate of Training and Identification for carrying tear gas and pepper spray.
• Cost: $35.00

8-Hour Continuing Education

• You will be provided with a Certificate of Completion in compliance with the appearance requirements stated in Title 16, California Code of Regulations, section 643 (b) after completing the course. This 8-hour course meets the BSIS continuing education requirement of an additional 8 hours annually pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 7583.6(f) (1).
• Cost: $50.00

32-Hour Course

• Parts 2 and 3 must be completed after the "Powers of Arrest and WMD" class (Part 1). Combined, Parts 2 and 3 represent the remaining 32 hours of the mandatory 40 hours of training.
• Cost: $150.00
